Elf
Toes Christmas Cartoon
(Dedicated to all sore
feet)
Want to sing along? Here are the lyrics:
Have
yourself a merry little Christmas.
Let your heart me light.
From now on our troubles
will be out of sight.
Have
yourself a merry little Christmas,
Make the Yuletide gay,
From now one our troubles
will be far away.
Here
we are as in olden days
Happy golden days of yore.
Faithful friends who are dear to us
Gather near to use once more.
Through
the years we all will be together
If the fates allow,
Hang a shining star
Upon the highest bough.
And,
have yourself a
Merry little Christmas now.
The
song, "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" was written by Hugh
Martin and Ralph Blanc in 1994 for the movie, "Meet Me in St.
Louis." This film was directed by Vincent Minnelli, husband of Judy
Garland who's version of this song is considered the best by many.
She always sang it on her CBS television Christmas shows.
And this song is considered her signature Christmas song.
