say a picture is worth a thousand words?
We hope that this animation helps express our sentiments to all
families, friends and our nation. We are literally speechless!

is "I'LL BE SEEING YOU"
Written by
Irving Kahal / Sammy Fain
Why this song? We refrained from a patriotic theme because more civilians
died than military.
And, well, to me terrorism isn't really a dignified military action. Is
it?
A bit about
this song: It first came out during WWII around 1944.
This is before most of us (including me) were born. ;)
It has been recorded over and over by many artists, so I will give no special
credit.
The song's message is about keeping someone's memories alive in your heart
who have died. None of us will forget. But we will adapt and grow on.
We are humans first, then Americans. IMHO, buildings can crumble, but not
our spirit.
If you
want to sing along, here are the lyrics:
I'll be
seeing you in all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces all day through
In that small cafè, the park across the way
The children's carousel, the chestnut trees, the wishing well
I'll be seeing you in every lovely summer's day
In everything that's light and gay
I'll always think of you that way
I'll find you in the mornin' sun
And when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll be seeing you
(musical instrument section)
I'll find you in the mornin' sun
And when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll be seeing you

Were You When The World Stopped Spinning? |
